Just livin the dream
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Jars of Hearts- Christina Perri
I have been listening to this song on repeat all day. Which normally would be okay but I have finals coming up, and this song is quite a distraction.
Particularly when I get the urge to dance around my apartment, get a little too into it and tweak my calf muscle.
Still. SO WORTH IT.

Texas, I’m coming back. Pinkie Swear.
For now, this will have to do.
George Bernard Shaw:
“The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them; that’s the essence of inhumanity.”
Lady Gaga is absolutely bat shit insane and I can’t get enough.
These past two weekends have been a much needed escape from reality for a period of time. Last weekend, Brett came down to go to the Barrister’s Ball with me. We gambled, drank, danced and explored the small nothingness that is Baton Rouge. I miss him a lot, but it’s SO wonderful to see him when he does come in.
And this weekend my parents came in for Family Day. My mom didn’t feel well Friday evening, but my dad and I went out with my friends and their parents, and saw a Plantation. Then Mom and I went shopping on Saturday and she hooked me up with some nice professional wear. THEN we got to go eat great seafood and watched Shutter Island
- highly confusing, but definitely intriguing.. I think you should go watch it.
Anyway, now that my loves have left, it’s time to get serious until my next break which is Easter/my birthday. I think I’m going to come up to Austin for a day or two during that break, depending on how slammed with school I am.
This was my christmas gift to Brett. I tried to channel Kandinsky, but I’m still a bit too straitlaced artistically to go too crazy. There’s a reason Picasso started off as a realist and veered off into cubism, you know! it takes time.
I am in the Red Stick. Adjusting.
Only teared up once today! Progress…
